SARI BARI CHARITY QUILT AUCTION
I was recently honored to participate in the annual Sari Bari Charity Quilt Auction. I created a baby crib quilt out of vintage Indian sari fabric and the money raised from the sale went to helping provide a safe place of employment in India where women who have been exploited or who are vulnerable to trafficking can experience a new life through the Sari Bari charity organization.
UPPERCASE MAGAZINE ISSUE 24
I was thrilled to be included as one of the featured artists in the 24th Issue of Uppercase magazine, a wonderful publication which focuses on all forms of creativity. Issue 24 examines the world of modern textiles, patchwork and fabric. Grandad’s Stool, which was made from repurposed shirts and sweaters, and was featured in the Scavenger Hunt section.
